Dr Raghav PALANKAR

Raghav PALANKAR received Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Jacobs University, Germany in 2010 while working on stimuli-responsive nanoengineered drug delivery systems. As a post-doctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, he developed microcarriers for encapsulation and triggered release of nanoparticles and nanomagnetic-control of single receptor signalling. In 2012, he joined the Center for Innovation Competence in Greifswald, Germany and In 2018, he became Junior Principal Investigator at the University of Medicine Greifswald, where investigated antibody-mediated cardiovascular diseases, biomechanics of cardiovascular cells by combining biophysical and nano-biosensing approaches. He joined Nature Nanotechnology in July 2022 and is based in Berlin. Within the editorial team of Nature Nanotechnology, Raghav handles a broad cross-section of manuscripts covering nanosensing, nano/micro-robotics, 3D/4D printing, bioelectronics, drug delivery platforms, DNA nanotechnology, synthetic biology that span all areas from nano to macroscales.
